Miles Herman represented a defendant charged with possession with intent to supply a significant quantity of class A drugs and possession of ammunition. The arrest followed an operation carried out by Operation Trident officers.

Miles and the extremely able Marguerite Russell of counsel prepared the matter for trial. Following defence submissions, the Court withdrew the ammunition charge from the jury and, due to a tactically astute defence that was put forward, the jury acquitted on the drugs matter.

The client, who was facing a lengthy prison sentence, was delighted. Miles has considerable experience in dealing with drugs and firearms cases and has an enviable success rate at trial.
