Unan Choudhury has been instructed to represent two defendants in two separate cases, in which the Met’s Flying Squad allege that both men were involved in armed robberies of security vans (cash in transit robberies). One case is to be tried at the Central Criminal Court (the Old Bailey) and the other at Kingston Crown Court.- Siobhain Egan acts for a businessman, an innocent third party, affected by confiscation and asset restraint proceedings as a result of a property transaction and trust agreement.
- Miles Herman has been instructed in Operation Jotaru, a largescale conspiracy concerning money laundering and ‘scam marriages’ prosecuted jointly by the Immigration Service and the Police. He has also been instructed in a multimillion ‘boiler room’ fraud prosecuted by City of London Police.
- Rhys Mardon represents an individual charged in yet another murder allegation in Oxfordshire.
- Paul Mason has been instructed by a professional man facing allegations of online child pornography and grooming offences, having been entrapped by a so-called vigilante ‘paedophile hunter’.
- Tony Meisels has been instructed by a company director facing a multi-charge indictment, involving charges under the Company Directors Disqualification Act and Unfair Trading Regulations. This case is prosecuted jointly by BIS and Trading Standards.
- Penny Muir acts for an individual charged with the importation of 200kg of class A drugs (street value £70 million) through Tilbury Docks.
