  1. Traffic CamJeffrey Lewis represented a businessman whose company took him all over the country and who faced a six month ban as a ‘totter’ i.e. he had twelve points on his licence. As a result of a detailed ‘exceptional hardship’ argument, Jeffrey was able to persuade the bench that the period of disqualification should be only one month rather than six!

  3. Martin Lewis, of counsel (and, yes, brother of the above) represented an employee of a large public company who faced an allegation that he was driving without a licence. Again, as a result of detailed ‘investigative work’ with both his employers and their insurers, we were able to successfully argue that his presumption that he was insured was well-founded because it was his employer’s duty to ensure that he was insured.
