RCJThe actor John Alford has instructed Siobhain Egan to prepare his appeal against conviction and referral to CCRC, after having been informed by the CPS that he is one of twenty-five convicted individuals (as a result of stings by Mazher Mahmood, the ‘Fake Sheikh’) that are in possession of information which could render their convictions unsafe. John was convicted in 1999 of supplying cocaine and had unsuccessfully appealed against it.

Siobhain is now acting for two of the twenty-five of the individuals, and will work with Mark Lewis of Taylor Hampton who acts in civil proceedings.
