cuffsSean and James Reilly defended an individual accused of a serious allegation of violence (S.18) against his partner.

The complainant had called the police and stated that our client had assaulted her with a weapon; the defendant denied the allegation from the outset.

He stated that the 'alleged victim' had consumed a large amount of alcohol and an equally large amount of different (illegal) recreational drugs. She then picked up a monkey wrench to threaten him, but the weapon swung back and hit her in the face causing very serious injuries. She sustained injuries to her cheek bone and eye socket.

The client was acquitted, after the Reilly brothers had thoroughly prepared his defence.
