Crime & Fraud Cases

John Sweeney of BBC Newsnight interviewed three of our clients; John Alford, Herbie Hide and Alex Smith, in our offices on 21/10/2016, about their personal suffering as a result of the 'Fake Sheikh' Mazer Mahmood sting entrapments, which led to their convictions.

During the interview they explain how these convictions have devastated their lives and those of their families, and it makes very powerful television.

All three are applying to the CCRC so that their convictions can be overturned as a result of Mahmood conviction for perverting the course of justice.
