Unan acted for a young man of good character who had previously been employed by one of the major high street banks.
He had been arrested following a large scale banking fraud investigation, and the client pointed out in interview that the actions he had taken at the request of the bank's customer had been sanctioned by his immediate line manager as an appropriate course of action. This contradicted a statement given by that line manager to police.
Eagle-eyed and tenacious Unan insisted on seeing the computer printout of the bank customer's file during the police interview, and was able to point out the communications between our client and his line manager who sanctioned the particular action on behalf of the bank to police.
Thankfully the matter was discontinued against the client.
