Crime & Fraud Cases

new-scotland-yardRhys Mardon has been instructed once again (he now has three sets of instructions) regarding potential charges under Operation Elveden. Our clients include journalists and private investigators. This adds to other instructions received under Operation Elveden; Miles Herman is dealing with a number of journalists, and Siobhain Egan represented a News of the World journalist and successfully managed to have serious proceedings against her withdrawn after detailed representations were made to the Crown Prosecution Service. This was despite the fact that the journalist’s two co-suspects were eventually charged and proceedings have been instigated against them in the Crown Court.

We will be writing a detailed blog on developments under Operation Elveden in the near future.
