A Metropolitan Police Witness Care Unit admin officer was recently cleared of intimidating a witness and misconduct in a public office. Our client was alleged to have used her position to access a crime report containing details of all witnesses in a case where her sister had been the victim of a GBH. Subsequently our client approached a defence witness outside her workplace and threatened her. However on 10 October 2014, following a four-day trial at Blackfriars Crown Court, she was acquitted of both charges.
